On-Site Periodontist

Not many general dental offices have their very own on-site periodontist. For special periodontal needs, instead of having to refer you to another office we can schedule you in-house. In addition, Dr. Richardson offers free consults.

Growing up in Cache Valley, Utah, Bruce Richardson received his Bachelor of Science degree from Utah State University. He attained his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington. Upon graduation, Dr. Richardson entered the United States Air Force and completed a General Practice Residency at Scott AFB Regional Hospital in Illinois. After five years of general practice, he returned to the University of Washington and completed a residency in his specialty of periodontics.
While in the military, Dr. Richardson held a number of distinguished positions including instructor of dental residents and the director of the annual implant course.

Dr. Richardson’s professional memberships include the American Dental Association, American Academy of Periodontology and American Board of Periodontology. He is a Board Certified Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. Additionally, he is a published contributor to several noted dental research journals. Among these include the Journal of the American Dental Association, General Dentistry, Journal of Dental Research and American Journal of Dentistry.

Dr. Richardson and his wife, a dental hygienist, have lived in Eagle for the past 15 years. They have been married for 36 years, having five children and five grandchildren. The sixth will be arriving in December. Dr. Richardson likes to spend time with family, gardening in the summer and tending to their horses, cattle, chickens, dogs, cats and bees.
